Kate Morgan Staff Photo

I received my undergraduate and graduate degrees in Early Childhood Education from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Since then, I have received certifications to teach Gifted as well as Special Education. I received my Educational Specialist degree in curriculum and instruction from Lincoln Memorial University.

I have had experience teaching at inner city schools in Knox County as a student teacher while in college, but as soon as I graduated in 2007 came straight to Catoosa County and have enjoyed being here ever since. :)  I have had experiences teaching second grade, eip classes, kindergarten, special education classes, and gifted classes.  I am currently a special teacher for preschool.

Hello!  My name is Kate Morgan.  I love teaching young children and watching them grow!  I have always enjoyed working with young children and knew I wanted to be a teacher when I was young and used to “teach” my stuffed animals. :) I currently teach special education preschool and love it! I believe the early years are the most special and magical and I love being able to have fun and teach such a wonderful group of students. When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband Jon and daughter Eleanor love trying new things and doing outdoor activities. You can find us at the park, gardening at home, or playing at the pool in the summertime.
