Education

Mrs. Scott attended Florida State University from 1984-88 and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.

She attended Georgia State University and earned her Masters' Degree in 1995.

She has been continuing her education by attending Professional Learning classes and workshops.

Most recently, Catoosa County provided a Technology Fair which gave a great overview of many apps

and computer programs to be used in the classroom. 



Experience

Mrs. Scott is a 30-year veteran teacher who retired from classroom teaching in 2014. She began her teaching career

in Pinellas County, Florida where she taught first grade for 4 years.

 She moved to Marietta, GA, where she taught in Cobb County for 10 years teaching first and second grades.

She and her husband then lived in Calhoun, GA for 9 years, where she taught first and third grades in Gordon County.

She finished her career in Catoosa County, teaching second and third grades at Ringgold Elementary, Ringgold Primary,

Battlefield Primary and Cloud Springs Elementary.

She now enjoys being back at Ringgold Primary as an Interventionist, specializing in helping struggling readers build

their skills and find success.
