Stop the Summer SlideKids can lose some serious ground in reading and math over summer break. The best way to stop this "Summer Slide" is to encourage your child to read over the summer. Even a few books can make a huge difference when your child goes back to school in August. Here are some FUN ways to access books during the summer.

Catoosa County Library
Join in the fun summer reading program at the Catoosa County Library. All Catoosa County Schools are partnering with the library for an incredible Summer Reading Kick-Off on Tuesday, May 28, from 5:30-7:30pm. Win prizes from both the public library AND your RPS library when you participate in their Summer Reading BINGO! Find free programs and events for all ages throughout the summer by visiting their website.
