About RPS

RPS
Ringgold Primary School is a Pre-Kindergarten through Second Grade school that is located in Ringgold, Georgia, a small rural community in the northwestern section of the state. As part of the Catoosa County School System, RPS serves over 550 students. Currently, there are five self-contained special education classrooms, two special needs pre-school classes, three Georgia Pre-K classes, nine kindergarten classes, eight first grade classes, and seven second grade classrooms. The school also provides additional resource classes, such as physical education, music, art, STEM, and many others. RPS opened in August 1999 with e-Splost Funding as a solution for overcrowding at Ringgold Elementary School. The 87,000 square foot facility adjoins RES but is a separate facility. The two schools share a kitchen and a large media center.

In the Ringgold Primary School community, stakeholders work together to create a positive and secure learning environment with high expectations for student growth. Through active classroom learning activities, our students are full participants in the development of their educational experience and environment. We continued the Ringgold tradition and selected school colors of blue and white and the tiger cub as our school mascot.
