Title 1 Family Engagement

Family Engagement Month

November is Family Engagement Month, a time to celebrate the partnership between families, schools, and communities. To celebrate, I have sent out the RPS Turkey Feather Project. Decorate the turkey feather together and send it back in to be displayed on Tom the Turkey! These forms will be sent home soon.
There are many ways to stay engaged with your family and school. Below are few suggestions:
  • Read a book together as a family
  • Write a story together
  • Act out a family favorite book
  • Create a family art gallery
  • Build something out of legos together
  • Volunteer in the Family Resource Room
  • Attend Family Engagement nights at RPS

Learning Styles Parent Workshop

Join us for this informative workshop to learn about the different learning styles on November 5th at 10:00am.
You will be given resources to determine which style your child is, and tips on how to use each one!
Please RSVP by emailing Tracy Wilson at twilson.rps@catoosa.k12.ga.us
