Welcome parents and families! We’re excited to kick off a new school year with your child. To help them start the year off strong, please make sure they have the supplies they will need.

Below are the supply lists for the 2026-2027 school year for PreK through 2nd grade. Please note that specific supplies may vary by grade. Your child's classroom teacher will be in touch near the start of the school year with any other supplies that are specific to their class.

 

 

Optional donations are greatly appreciated at all grade levels:
Tissues, hand sanitizer, and/or disinfecting wipes

    Ringgold Primary has 3 GA Pre-K classrooms, all of which are lottery funded, meaning our funding provides all of the necessary school supplies for our students. We do ask that parents send their students with the following:

    1. A standard size backpack - no toddler/small backpacks please.

    2. A small, thin blanket for rest time.

    3. A full set of extra clothes - in the event of a spill or bathroom accident.

    If for some reason you are unable to provide these items, please contact Mrs. Dillard, Mrs. Fuqua, or Ms. Helton at RPS for assistance.

    No child will be denied because they do not have these items.

     Due to the numerous consumable products we will be using throughout the school year, the following supply list has been created for  the needs of kindergarten classrooms at Ringgold Primary School.  Please do not put your child’s name on ANYTHING besides the composition notebook. All other supplies will be community supplies.

    SUPPLY DONATION of $25 (no child will be denied for not contributing)

    •  Large Backpack (No wheels, please)
    •  Headphones (no earbuds or bluetooth)  
    • Scissors  2 Crayola crayons (box of 16 or 24 count)
    • 1 Composition Notebook-- Primary lines with drawing section
    • 6 Glue sticks 1 package of Skinny Expo dry erase marker ( black)    
    • 1 Package of EXPO dry erase marker(black)
    • 1 Pack of white copy paper 2 Disinfect Cleaning Wipes  
    • 2 Paper towels (rolls)  
    • 2 Tissue (large boxes)  
    • Snack, Quart,½ Gallon or Gallon Zipper storage ( 1 of  any size)  

    BOYS ONLY: Antibacterial liquid soap &  Gallon Bags           

    GIRLS ONLY: Hand sanitizer & Construction paper                                            

    This is a "Wish List" for additional items for Kindergarten.

    • 2 boxes of Crayola crayons (box of 24 count or less)
    • 1 Wireless Composition Book (black & white for Math)
    • 1 Primary Journal 
    • Personal Pencil Box
    • Personal Headphones for Chromebooks (NO ear buds)

    COMMUNITY Classroom Supplies

    • 1 package of EXPO dry-erase marker (black only)
    • 6 glue sticks
    • Clorox Disinfectant Cleaning Wipes
    • Paper towels
    • Tissues
    • 1 pack of yellow wooden pencils (preferred Ticonderoga pencils)
    • Ziplock bags
    • Hand sanitizer

     This is a list of basic supplies. Each classroom teacher may request specific items at the start of school!
